GM Degens,
As positive developments surrounding trade deals emerge and the U.S. continues its widespread adoption of crypto via a progressing regulatory framework, a bull market continuation appears promising.
Overall, Bitcoin remains robust, but the same cannot be said for altcoins. However, certain alts do stand out from the rest, and today we will explore them.

Final Preparations Before The Next Leg Up!
Bitcoin (BTC) is pulling back slightly after its recent surge, hovering near all-time highs but not quite breaking through.
Meanwhile, altcoins are struggling to gain traction, with low inflows and muted interestโexcept for standouts like Aptos (APT) and Sei (SEI), which are showing some green. Google search interest for crypto remains low, hinting at the fact that retail hasnโt fully jumped in yet. On the flip side, Bitcoin ETFs are still raking in cash, with $547.7M in net inflows on June 25 alone Farside data.
Now, there is a massive silver lining on the horizon: Upcoming trade deal headlines, with a July 9 deadline looming.
President Trumpโs already reportedly signed a deal with China, and the EUโs signaling itโs ready to talk. But the White House is downplaying the deadlineโs importance, and with Trumpโs 90-day tariff pause nearing its end, markets could see some volatility. Nevertheless, the trade deal and tariff FUD was big. now we watch as it dissipates clearing the path for risk-on assets to run again.
But there are still obstacles to overcomeโฆ
The Q1 2025 GDP revision came in at -0.5%, worse than the expected -0.2% . Jobless claims dipped to 236K, but insured unemployment hit a 2021 high of 1.974M. Overall, markets are now pricing in three rate cuts for 2025, starting in September, up from two a week ago CME FedWatch. This could ultimately be the biggie, the main catalyst, for risk-on assets like crypto. Howard Lutnick and Grant Cardone are vocal about the Fedโs Jerome Powell needing to cut rates ASAP, citing low to zero inflation and $30B/month in tariff revenue.
Meanwhile, Julyโs shaping up to be big for crypto legislation. The GENIUS Act for stablecoins is set for a bill signing, and the CLARITY Act for broader crypto market structure is heading to the Senate by September. Indiaโs also jumping in, with a crypto discussion paper focused on stablecoins due this month.
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, this regulatory clarity will open the path for a brighter crypto future. With rate cuts on the horizon and regulatory clarity coming, the setup for risk assets looks promising.
But for now, markets are choppy, so we wonโt force trades. Weโll hold our high-conviction positions and stay patientโheadlines on tariffs or trade deals could shake things up next week.

While most alts are quiet, Sei (SEI) is up 40% this week, fueled by wallet growth (8.3M, second only to Base) and its selection as a finalist for Wyomingโs stablecoin. Messari analyst Solofunk explained that price action isnโt solely determined by on-chain fundamentals, but is largely influenced by this regulatory news. As news comes that SEI has been selected as 1 of 11 finalists for Wyomingโs WYST stablecoin, bulls will be happy.
Aptos (APT) is also green, riding momentum from its recent โShelbyโ announcement for decentralized storage.
Some commentary on X shows that people are willing to believe this can take on the likes of AWS and other storage solution. Time will tell. We know from Arweave (AR) and Filecoin (FIL) that demand for this narrative is there.
Meanwhile, Sui (SUI) just crossed a major milestone, surpassing 215 million total accounts as of June 27, 2025 . The chart tells the story: a steady climb since 2022, with a sharp pump recently, boasting a 6.77% increase over the past 30 days.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) is not far behind when it comes to traction, hitting an all-time high of $248 billion in trading volume for May. According to โblocmatesโ, in Q1 2025, it crossed $555 billion in trading volume, up 105% QoQ, despite multiple trading exploits.
Not everything is moving up, but these alts certainly areโif not price wise then adoption-wise. What makes them stand out is their strong fundamental value. Those who understand what these protocols do from the get-go can differentiate them from worthless memecoins and other tokens with zero utility. This isnโt to say that people canโt make money on memecoins, but itโs harder to have a strong thesis and high conviction about something highly speculative compared to a project with actual utility.

๐ญ Banterโs Take
As evident from all the macro-world announcements, markets could become highly volatile next week, potentially starting over the weekend, what with Trump's tendency to make announcements during Wall Street's closing hours.
We remain confident in the strength of our selected coins and anticipate the continuation of the bull market, as Bitcoin potentially nears the moment to break its all-time high (ATH).
See you all on Monday!
